La plainte au loin du faune – Paul Dukas

La plainte au loin du faune (The far away complaint of a Faun) belongs to a series of tributes to Debussy, such as the Homenaje by Manuel de Falla. Paul Dukas composed this work for piano in 1920, two years after Debussy died. This hypnotic work is entirely based on the famous chromatic theme opening Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune.

Thanks to this arrangement, guitar players can now widespread this beautiful and mysterious work yet poorly known. The arrangement was made for two guitars and one baritone guitar. It is only available in standard staff and includes the main score and the separated parts.
